The Best Pocket PC Apps

I'm compiling the best of the best pocket pc apps. I will keep on adding to the list as and when I explore new applications.

SPB Pocket Plus - Today plug-in with tabs. Close button that really closes. ZIP support in File Explorer. Battery indicator in taskbar.

SPB Diary - Today plugin manager for Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, Notes and Messages.

SPB GPRS Monitor - A complete solution for measuring the amounts of data transfers via your GPRS, CDMA or GSM network connection and calculating network usage costs.

Lakeridge Wisbar - The ability to change the appearance of your system to a degree not matched in other software.

Starbite Solution's pPod - An Ipod looking mp3 player.

The Ipod Touch

Well, its been a long time since my last post here.

Apple has just announced the Ipod Touch and this has certainly caught my eye......I was never too fond of Ipods in the past, mainly because of their nagging, proprietary, iTunes and a limited file type support, with no other add-on, such as FM radio, voice recording, etc.

Although the Ipod Touch still lacks those misc. features, the fact that it has full screen video viewing, with Wi-Fi internet browsing (with Safari), it takes the cake specially in style.

It is based on the Iphone (also dubbed as Iphone sans 'phone'), and features the revolutionary multi-touch technology to make Ipodding an experience like never before.
