Facebook chat

Facebook has been developing a chat applet within the site, much like the gtalk within gmail. it is being launched in phases in various regions, so some of you may not have seen it yet.

it resides in a bar at the bottom of your screen and displays your friends that have the chat activated and are online.

its going to be pretty big as more and more people are activated!

i hope meebo picks this up soon and adds it to their arsenal of IMs so you can manage everything at one place.

Xeyad 1

Well this refers to a project I have started......to build a pedal powered roadster for Xeyad....

It is based on a Ford '32 roadster. Here is a sketch of what it should look like when complete.

I'll keep on posting the progress here.

Today: Meeting with my denter to finalize the measurements and total project time and cost.

The Best Pocket PC Apps

I'm compiling the best of the best pocket pc apps. I will keep on adding to the list as and when I explore new applications.

SPB Pocket Plus - Today plug-in with tabs. Close button that really closes. ZIP support in File Explorer. Battery indicator in taskbar.

SPB Diary - Today plugin manager for Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, Notes and Messages.

SPB GPRS Monitor - A complete solution for measuring the amounts of data transfers via your GPRS, CDMA or GSM network connection and calculating network usage costs.

Lakeridge Wisbar - The ability to change the appearance of your system to a degree not matched in other software.

Starbite Solution's pPod - An Ipod looking mp3 player.

The Ipod Touch

Well, its been a long time since my last post here.

Apple has just announced the Ipod Touch and this has certainly caught my eye......I was never too fond of Ipods in the past, mainly because of their nagging, proprietary, iTunes and a limited file type support, with no other add-on, such as FM radio, voice recording, etc.

Although the Ipod Touch still lacks those misc. features, the fact that it has full screen video viewing, with Wi-Fi internet browsing (with Safari), it takes the cake specially in style.

It is based on the Iphone (also dubbed as Iphone sans 'phone'), and features the revolutionary multi-touch technology to make Ipodding an experience like never before.
